What is this database?

Not all medical trials are published in medical journals. There are several factors affecting the chance of publication of a trial in medical journals, e.g. publication bias. A systematic reviewer should not limit ones-self to published sources of evidence. Registries listed below, provide informationabout on-going and completed medical trials held by their center or others, and are worth searching into, in appropriate cases.

We have collectedthe records of this database, through online searches. There is no doubt the list is not complete. If you are aware of such web sites, that are not listed here, please don't hesitate to contact us.
